About The Event

Just as Van Gogh was inspired by Japanese art, this Art & THRIVE painting is inspired by Van Gogh's painting of Almond Blossom. He originally painted this picture as a harbinger of spring and as a present for his recently born nephew and namesake.

Almond blossom symbolises many positive things in different cultures, but to Van Gogh it represented awakening and hope.

Come and have a go and be inspired by the vibrant fresh colour and brush strokes used in this painting.

No experience necessary. Our highly experienced art tutors will guide you through the process of painting your picture, step by step, so that you can relax and just enjoy the experience.
